Satoko has made Melbourne her new home and you are likely to see her riding in the hills in the Dandenongs or north of the city… as long as the route includes a stop for cake and coffee! After joining several CycleHosts’ rides Satoko broached the idea of creating and hosting this wonderful tour which starts in her home village and covers some of her favourite cycling areas. Her caring nature, local knowledge and attention to detail has results in a fabulous experience for all riders.
Derek grew up in Melbourne but now lives and works in Tokyo. An avid runner and cyclist, his amazing fitness will see him effortlessly leading you up the hills each day whilst continuing to carrying on a full conversation and cracking plenty of jokes.
Diane is one of the founders of CycleHosts and she loves riding big hills as well as racing road and crits. Having driven the support car on the 2018 tour she is very excited to share this amazing ride experience with you on the bike in 2019.
Phil is another Australian who now calls Tokyo home. A keen cyclist himself he passionate about cycle touring in Japan and providing the best support and experience possible for other riders.
