Sunday 6 May

Inspired by the famous Amstel Gold - an Ardenne's Classic world tour race that features constant hills and climbs - this route is a ripper.  So many quiet tree-lined roads, beautiful views amongst the farmlands and of course, plenty of hills and punchy climbs.

A cheeky espresso midway through the ride not only rewards, but also encourages, more determined and sprightly riding :)

Bring enough food for 4 hours of riding in frequent punchy climbing terrain.  Maintaining your blood sugar will maintain your speed, mood and ride enjoyment.

Wear adaptable cycling gear. The region can get quite cold in the winter but depending on your body and riding style, body temperatures with the constant hills, can really jump.

The area can also handle inclement weather quite well, so most times, rides go ahead regarless of the conditions.
