Red Hill Gravel
David is your Host for this spectacular ride. His knowledge of the area is impeccable. A retired Police Officer, now casual bus driver and always a cyclist - Dave has created an amazing ride for us. And yes, there will be coffee and the usual love from CycleHosts.
Ok Beautiful People - this is the plan…
We greet you at the car park at Point Leo and Shoreham Roads from 7.45am. Coffee is available from 7.30am at the Red Hill Cellar and Pantry (opposite the car park).
You arrive equipped with CX, Gravel or hard-tail MTB. A briefing will occur and we will depart at 8am for a 65-70km ride with approximately 1500 metres of climbing and a 60/40 split of gravel/road.
The route itself takes in vineyards, local towns of Merricks and Flinders and includes stunning views of Phillip Island and Bass Strait.
You will have three Hosts, with Dave leading the group. A GPX file will also be shared days before the ride to registered riders.
